Corazon del Madidi (meaning “Heart of Madidi”) Ecolodge was founded in 2011 by a group of local guides from the indigenous community of San José de Uchupiamonas. In Corazón del Madidi we unite our experiences in ecotourism, our cultural heritage that identifies us with our country and the traditional hospitality of our people. Corazón del Madidi is focused on conveying a complete experience of the Amazon forest, integrating scientific understanding with the traditional use of natural resources.
The Corazón del Madidi Ecolodge is located in the valley of the Tuichi and Eslabon rivers in the heart of the Madidi National Park in the Bolivian Amazon. The main entry point to the Corazón del Madidi Ecolodge is via the town of Rurrenabaque, which can be accessed by air or land from the city of La Paz.
